Mr. Devine joined Quantum in January 2010 bringing significant industry experience in telecommunication tower business having previously worked with the Corporate Development teams at both Global Signal and later with Crown Castle. Entering the industry in 2004 as the Director of Corporate Development/Acquisitions at Global Signal, Mr. Devine was responsible for sourcing, negotiating and closing transactions for wireless communication towers. Mr. Devine continued this role as an outside consultant for Crown Castle from January 2007 through December 2009.
Since September 2004, Mr. Devine has sourced and/or managed the preparation of investment committee presentations for potential acquisitions and investment opportunities totaling in excess of $2.0 billion in value; integral member of acquisition team closing in excess of $800MM in transactions; and personally sourced or managed in excess of $250MM in closed transactions.
Prior to Global Signal, Mr. Devine was Vice President at Gulf Atlantic Capital corporation where he provided transaction and financial advisory services to distressed companies which included sell side advisory and daily management of financial systems. Mr. Devine earned a bachelor of arts degree in history from the University of California, Los Angeles. Mr. Devine earned his juris doctorate in 1997 from California Western School of Law and an M.B.A. In 2000 from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
